<br>These patches are absolutely critical to the survival of the game; without them, the meta would quickly stagnate into one or two unbeatable decks, and the player base would abandon the game out of sheer boredom.<br>
The Math Behind the Patches
<br>Conversely, a card with a 1% usage rate and a 42% win rate is functionally dead and requires a 'Buff' (an increase in stats) to make it viable again.<br>
<br>Furthermore, they must consider 'interaction changes'—if they buff a Goblin's hitpoints by just 2%, it might suddenly survive a Zap spell, completely breaking the swarm meta.<br>
Never invest all your gold into a card that is currently dominating the meta.Let the pros figure out the new broken interactions first.Changing a unit's speed from 'Fast' to 'Medium' might actually help it build larger pushes.
